These are not laminated pieces of wood but one big thick chunk, dried for two or more years then turned on a lathe. We absolutely love the wood grain patterns and colors of real wood versus synthetic materials. They may be limited in number because of the difficulty of finding the wood and the drying time required to prevent splitting. We will continue our search for suitable wood so we can continue to offer these one-of-a-kind treasures!
Features include:
- ~Blocks measure seven inches in diameter by seven inches tall made of hardwood coated with several coats of marine polyurethane.
- ~Green Stadium Astroturf is inset into the top for healthy feet.
- ~Blocks are drilled to fit over our custom stainless steel spike with six inch base. We prefer not to screw them to the spike so they can be easily removed and safely stored when not in use.
- ~Top of block sits 12 inches above the ground.
- ~Full one year warranty against any cracks in the wood from normal wear and tear. Note: Any wood block must be protected from excessive heat, cold and sun to avoid cracks and discoloration. Given care, they will last a lifetime.
