Beeswax Bar

Waxing your needle and thread is a very important step. Waxed thread will allow for much easier threading of the needle and passage of the needle through the leather. It keeps the thread from breaking off while sewing and holds the thread tighter until knotted.
Rub the length of the thread between the wax and forefinger. Remove excess beeswax by stripping it through a piece of scrap cotton cloth.
Each 1 ounce beeswax bar measures 1 inch wide x 3 inches long x 3/4 inch thick.
