It is a good idea to carry two or more extra fully charged batteries when using the Northwoods Quadcopter in the field. Just takes a few minutes to bring the quad down, unplug the spent battery and install a new battery rather than lose power or worst yet CRASH! We have found this 6000 mAh lithium rechargeable battery to be the best available for maximum energy and operation time. Note: We attach a special quick connect plug onto the battery power cord. If you order this battery from another source it will not fit the plug on the quadcopter.
