Here is a sample poem:
Sky Climber
She’s got the power to knock down a mallard cold
Feather perfect, stooping hard and bold
Sky Climber, a beauty, she’s a peach
Oh, Sky Climber, the heavens you have reached
But, Sky Climber, you sit there on your block
So unconcerned, a first-rate hunting hawk
When you’re on my wrist my world is made complete
From your malar stripe to your giant killing feet
And Sky Climber why do you come to me?
Sky Climber each time I set you free
Could it be you feel the way I feel?
Undying faith in a Lady Made of Steel
All, Sky Climber, my friends say I’m hardcore
‘Cuz, Sky Climber, yer all that I live for
What would they say if they flew you everyday?
They don’t, I do, and any price I’ll pay
For a Sky Climber
