Bullet Jess System: Field and Mews with Loop

Vinyl Bullet Jesses are made to simply slip the bullet end through the grommet and the bird is quickly and securely tethered. The bird can not pull the bullet back through the grommet. The jess itself is made from durable nylon cord, stainless steel and aluminum vinyl cable with a special, easy-to-clean coating. The jess can be inserted or removed in a few seconds with one hand for easy operation in the field. Instructions are included.

Bullet Jesses should only be used as mews (permanent) jesses. Young or passage birds have a tendency to bite their jesses constantly and should be fitted with leather jesses until they settle down. At the discretion of the falconer, at that time they can be safely introduced and fitted to the “bullet jesses”.
