Block Spike with 6-Inch Plate

This stainless steel falcon block spike comes with our innovative six-inch base plate for added stability. The large plate hugs the ground preventing the ‘wiggle’ factor common with other blocks. A hard-bating falcon can easily loosen spikes with smaller bases, even allowing them to pull the perch out of the ground. This can be especially dangerous when it is a big imprinted falcon tethered near other falcons.

Features Include:

• All stainless steel ½ inch diameter rod, professional tig welds with zero rusting.
• Center stainless steel tube allows the leash to spin free with each bate.
• Top plate measures 3 inches diameter x 1/8 inch thick with two countersunk holes that can be used to secure the block with screws. Bottom plate is 6 inches diameter x 1/8 inch thick.
• Tie ring is custom made of ¼ inch diameter stainless rod x  3 inches diameter. The larger diameter is easy to find with ones fingers to tether your falcon. The ring also will not pass over the top plate in case the falcon dislodges the spike from the ground.
• Spike measures 18 inches long:  4-inch long top that goes into the block,  5-inch middle with revolving tube and 9-inch spike.
