Description
One of the first ever film documentaries about Frank Beebe (1914-2008), one of the most influential falconers in North America. Northwoods Falconry film crew traveled to Frank’s home in British Columbia in 2006 to interview and film Frank in action. Frank tells us his earliest adventures as a rifle toting youngster on the frontier of the Canadian West, discusses the making of his winged bird lures, demonstrates pole luring his Gyrfalcon and use of the lure machine with his Goshawk ending with some of his outspoken opinions surrounding the decline of the Peregrine Falcon. His love for the outdoors and birds of prey can be felt with every swing of the lure.
