Julie Anne Collier is a licensed raptor rehabilitator and Master Falconer living in Springfield, Massachusetts. She is a full-time lecturer about birds of prey, Native American craftwork, culture and freelance artist and writer. Her chosen medium is pen-and-ink, specifically India ink applied with a fine nib pen in a line-and-stipple technique allowing her to incorporate great detail into her artwork. Julie's trademark has become the one spot of bright color in many of her drawings-the expressive eyes of her raptor subjects. All drawings are digitally printed on size 11" x 17" 67 lb vellum Bristol-creame-colored acid-free paper. Each is then hand-signed by the artist.
